The City of Racine has passed a resolution to join the Green Tier Legacy Communities!

Egg Harbor joined Legacy Communities in 2017. 2018 projects will focus on refuse and recycling. Egg Harbor is currently working on installing blue recycling bins and informational signage to promote and educate the public on recycling. Egg Harbor is also working on developing a hazardous waste recycling event so that rural Door County residents have the opportunity to dispose of their hazardous waste!

La Crosse County has adopted the resolution to become a Green Tier Legacy Community!

St. Croix County has adopted the resolution to become a Green Tier Legacy Community!

Oshkosh is currently doing a 5 year update of their Sustainability Plan!  Additional efforts include reviewing ordinances with a sustainability-related lens through the WI Sea Grant Institute’s Green Infrastructure Audit, inventorying electric vehicle infrastructure, working with UW-Oshkosh Environmental Studies students, and devoting more resources to outreach and education!

Wisconsin Rapids has adopted the resolution to become a Green Tier Legacy Community!
